STORE MANAGER

Job Description: Rent King is currently seeking a Store Manager for multiple locations.

Job Objectives: Increase store revenue and profit by developing team of employees who are trained and committed to providing total customer satisfaction; manage the assets of store, and develop future Store Managers for the company. Accomplish these tasks in a manner that is consistent with the company Mission Statement. 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Monitor and ensure excellence in customer satisfaction
  • Create, manage and execute plans to increase sales and revenues
  • Monitor and improve upon the skills of all employees
  • Monitor and ensure account management activities in accordance with company policies, procedure, and performance standards
  • Maintain the store in rent ready condition and keep employees informed of promotions and product
  • Set specific, measurable goals for store performance, customer satisfaction and employee development
  • Use the company sales programs to manage employee selection, training, motivation, evaluation, coaching, and guidance
  • Provide leadership to all employees
  • Manage and adapt the stores direction based on the review and analyzing of various reports
  • Manage the stores inventory by ordering, receiving and transferring product to ensure revenue growth
  • Organize and follow-up on all daily activities both routine and not, including the scheduling of employees to meet the needs of the store
  • Manage and secure all assets of the store
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and performance standards are followed and adhered to
  • Any other duties assigned by Divisional Manager/Key Operator  
Skills/Requirements:
  • A clean and valid Florida Drivers License
  • A successful background in retail or restaurant management
  • Strong interpersonal skills;outstanding math, verbal, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work 50-60 hours weekly
  • Must be highly self-motivated and strong team leader

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

Job Description: Rent King is currently seeking a Assistant Store Manager for multiple locations.

Job Objectives: To provide total customer satisfaction and assist in the growth of store by performing the essential job functions described below, included but not limited to: Assist in the execution of the RENT KING sales program and account management process; Help manage the location by following and enforcing policies and procedures; Assist directly in areas of deficiency; Assist in the training of employees; Train to be an effective store manager.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prospect for new business by assisting with the RENT KING sales program
  • Take rental order over the phone and the sales floor
  • Organize,delegate, and follow up on all daily activities using the planner
  • Maintain the store in rent ready condition and keep employees informed of promotions, products, or policy changes
  • Monitor and improve the sales skills of employees
  • Develop, implement, and monitor weekly sales plans with specific measurable goals
  • Run reports, manage assets, and inventory as required or directed
  • Assist market managers as required for timely completion of work including field activities, calls and performance standards
  • Manage product services, NSF checks, and assist in ordering merchandise
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and company performance standards
  • In the store managers absence, the assistant manager will assume the responsibility of the store and perform in that capacity
  • Any other duties assigned by the Store Manager or senior management
Skills/ Requirements:
  • A clean and valid Florida Driver's License

MARKET MANAGER

Job Description: Rent King is currently seeking a Market Manager for multiple locations.

Job Objectives: To provide total customer satisfaction and assist in the growth of the store by performing the essential job functions described below, including but not limited to: the timely renewal of existing accounts; protection of company assets; maintaining current information on customers;taking rental payments; recording customer information or requests; keeping the store rent ready; and assisting in sales activities. 

Essential Job Functions:

Ensure the timely renewal of existing accounts in accordance with company guidelines and performance standards; or when necessary, arrange for return of the merchandise without damaging the company reputation of relationship with customer

  • Review past due accounts and prioritize
  • Contact customers with past due accounts to sell the timely renewal of the account via the telephone or in field visit
  • Schedule the return of merchandise when circumstances require such action
  • Keep accurate, up to date records of all activity taken on past due accounts
  • Recommend actions to be taken on customers who refuse to renew or return merchandise
Ensure each customer receives total customer satisfaction by helping to create a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer promptly; meeting customers needs; and following the company mission statement
  • Assist in answering the phone with the approved greeting with enthusiasm
  • Assist customers in product decisions both in store and on the phone
  • Assist in taking rental orders
  • Assist in rental verification as needed
  • Print rental agreements as needed; explain Rental Agreements
  • Handle customer service issues as needed
  • Schedule customer service issues as needed
  • Schedule customer services including delivery, products service, and return of merchandise, and enter the transactions on the planner
  • Process a variety of customer transactions through the computer including rental payments, cash sales, early purchase options, and customer returns
  • Perform customer call backs after deliveries when needed
  • Insure customer satisfaction by training them on the operation of rental merchandise
  • Load carry- out merchandise such as computers into customer vehicles 
Assist product delivery specialists as needed
  • Return merchandise from customers home as needed
  • Distribute sales flyers while in the field
  • Assist in loading and unloading of company and vendor trucks at the store and warehouse
Assist in increasing store growth in revenues and customers
  • Perform telemarketing as needed
  • Solicit  referrals from current and prospective customers
  • Manage accounts to reduce customer returns
Assist in keeping the store rent- ready
  • Put price tags on merchandise as per company policy
  • check merchandise for proper operation
  • Work with the store team to keep the store clean and organized, to include, vacuuming the floor;dusting and cleaning the merchandise; cleaning the windows and entry door as needed; backroom clean and organized; outside areas clean to include from sidewalk, parking lot and dumpster area
  • Hook up, display and price tag items as needed
Assist in the protection of assets and in loss prevention by following company policies
  • Receive merchandise into the store
  • Transfer merchandise to and from other locations
  • Process paperwork for return of rental merchandise
  • Follow all cash handling procedures
  • Perform daily and weekly vehicle inspections as required
  • use proper equipment to move rental merchandise and protect it from damage
  • Insure the security of merchandise at the store and in customers homes
  • Drive safely and obey all traffic laws
Follow all policies, procedures, and company performance standards. Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or Assistant Manager

Job Description: Rent King is currently seeking a customer Service Representative for multiple  locations.

Job Objectives: To provide total customer satisfaction and assist in the growth of store by performing the essential job functions described below, including but not limited to: sales activities; keeping the store rent ready; maintaining accurate customer files and information; taking rental payments.

Essential Job Functions:

Ensure each customer receives total customer service by helping to create a friendly environment, which included greeting and acknowledging every customer promptly; assisting with sales and service requests;

  • Greet and acknowledge customers
  • Answer the phone with the approved greeting enthusiastically
  • Assist customers in product decisions both in the store and on the phone
  • Take rental orders
  • Print rental agreements
  • Close rental agreements
  • Handle customer service issues in a timely manner
  • Schedule customer services properly including delivery, service, returns, schedules on the planner and insure time lines are followed
  • Process various transactions through the computer including rental payments, cash sales, early purchase options, and returns
  • Assist in delivery callbacks when necessary
  • Load carry out merchandise into customer vehicles

  • Assist in building and maintaining customer files to include all necessary paperwork
  • Process paperwork on merchandise returned from rental
  • Follow cash handling procedures
  • Insure the security of merchandise at the store
  • Make all merchandise to identify it as the company's
  • Use proper equipment to move rental merchandise and protect it from damage
Assist in limited account manager activities when needed
  • Review past due account and prioritize
  • Contact customers with past dues accounts and sell timely renewal of the agreements
  • Schedule to return of merchandise when needed
  • Keep accurate records of all activities taken on past dues accounts 
Assist when required with the delivery, return, or service of rental merchandise. Follow all policies, procedures, and company performance standards. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.

Skills/ Requirements:
  • A clean and valid Florida Drivers License 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; two years retail, rental or sales experience; basic reading and math skills; effective speaking, listening, and customer skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions;
  • Pass drug screen and background check.

DELIVERY SPECIALIST

Job Description: Rent King is currently seeking a product Delivery Specialist for multiple locations.

Job Objectives: To provide total customer satisfaction and assist in the growth of store by performing the essential job functions described below, including but not limited to: delivery of merchandise to customers, providing merchandise service, returning merchandise, sales support, vehicle maintenance, and keeping the store rent- ready.

Essential Job Functions:

Timely completion of services to customers including delivery of merchandise, service, and return of merchandise.

  • Execute delivery and set-up of merchandise at the time requested by the customer
  • Return merchandise from customers as requested or scheduled
  • Perform customer service calls
  • Deliver and return loaner merchandise
  • Load and unload merchandise at the store, warehouse, and at customers home as needed
Assist in account management when necessary by visiting the homes of customers with past due accounts in accordance with company policy

Assist in keeping store rent- ready
  • Clean, and refurbish merchandise returned from rental to like-new condition to the greatest extent possible to maximize future terms
  • Check merchandise for proper operation and advise Store Manager of issues
  • Work with store team to keep the entire store clean and organized, to include: vacuuming the floor, dusting and cleaning the merchandise, cleaning the windows and entry doors, keeping the backroom clean, tagged, and organized, and keeping the areas outside the store clean to include the parking lot, sidewalk and dumpster area.
  • Set up and assemble merchandise on the showroom floor for proper operation, visual appeal, and organization by product type
  • Keep refurbishing cart stocked with supplies and inform manager of needs
  • Unload merchandise shipped from vendors and place in according to instructions given by supervisor
Assist in the protection of assets and in loss prevention
  • Perform daily and weekly inspections of company vehicles to insure safe operation
  • Use the proper equipment and furniture protection pads when moving or transporting merchandise
  • Mark all merchandise appropriately to identify as company property
  • Insure the security of merchandise at the store and in customers home
  • Drive safely and obey all traffic laws
  • Insure the security of the vehicle and merchandise loaded on during transport, loading and unloading
Ensure each customer receives total customer satisfaction by helping create a friendly environment, which included greeting and acknowledging all customers promptly; applying product and program knowledge to meet customer needs; and treating every customer and employee with dignity and respect.
  • Answer phone when needed with the approval greeting in an enthusiastic fashion
  • Handle customer service issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Have customer complete any necessary delivery/callback form
  • Train customers on the operation of their rental products 
  • Schedule customer services including delivery, product service, and return of merchandise, and enter it on the planner
Assist in increasing store growth in customers and revenue by distributing sales flyers during field activities, and soliciting referrals from current and prospective customers. Follow all policies, procedures, and performance standards. Perform other duties assigned by Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager

  • High school diploma or equivalent;basic reading and math skills; good speaking, listening, and customer skills; ability to follow written instructions; ability to follow diagrams, illustrations, maps, or written instructions in the assembly or installation or merchandise
